The Henry

Karen Lewis - Co-opted

Karen worked at The Henry Beaufort school as Social Inclusion Officer for 15 years, working to support students with their mental health and retired last May to spend more time with her children and grandchildren. Karen has three grown up children, two girls and a boy. Her eldest daughter works in education,  her son is a natural History cameraman and her youngest daughter a Vetenary nurse. It was important for her to still be part of The Henry Beaufort community to support the school as Wellbeing Governor and to continue to work with an amazing team of support and Teaching staff.

Mental Health and Wellbeing is very close to Karen’s heart and she continues to work with the Pastoral team in school to support both staff and students and to keep up to date with all the latest information and knowledge for improving life chances for all our young people.
