GCSE RESULTS 2025

As expected, students at The Henry Beaufort School have produced an excellent set of results. Our core subjects of English, Maths and Science remain consistently high.
Students continue to make great progress at The Henry Beaufort School, translating this into positive outcomes that give them access to further education. Across the 30 subjects, the average Grade was a 5+; all students have demonstrated ambition by attaining above the nationally agreed Grade 4 pass.
We are delighted to have seen significant increases in students attaining grade 7 and above and across the curriculum, which evidences our students’ engagement with the school’s bespoke high attaining teaching and learning offer.
A number of students achieved an average of grade 9 across all of their subjects. Well done to Eloise, Douglas, Bethan, Jom, David, Lucy and Mark.
Our exceptional Modern Foreign Language department delivered above 90% grade 4 or better, with French and Spanish achieving over half of all entries at grade 7 or above.
Other outstanding student outcomes were seen in Music, with 92% grade 5 or better, and 57% grade 7 or above, which evidences the impact of the school’s comprehensive wider performing arts focus.
Engineering GCSE, an offer unique to our school in this area, delivered results at 70% grade 5 or better, with 31% at grade 7 or above.
Sue Hearle, Headteacher, said:
‘It has been very hard to single out subjects this year as we celebrate another year of consistently high performance. I am particularly proud and delighted with these results because these are young people who missed a significant amount of their education in the last year of their primary education and the first year of secondary school. It is testament to their hard work and the dedication of The Henry Beaufort School staff that we are celebrating another year of success for the school community.’
