USA Trip, Easter 2013
Welcome to our school website. The Henry Beaufort school community is enormously proud of what it has achieved and the fact that this has been recognised by Ofsted as Outstanding.
We consider this seal of approval from Ofsted as the start of the journey for the school rather than its conclusion. This journey will be accomplished by the school working as a collaborative community where staff, students, parents and governors work together to ensure that all students leave Henry Beaufort secure in the knowledge that they are ready to take on the next stage of their lives. Our school ethos, particularly in the area of student voice, allows already successful independent learners to develop the necessary resilience to become articulate, compassionate citizens of the future, able and willing to participate in their wider community.
Henry Beaufort is a school that values the voice of its students. Our school ethos of ‘Believe and Achieve’ has been chosen by our student body in recognition of what they view as important for themselves as well as their school.
We believe in a school that offers
• A commitment to building the learning power of all students
• A rewards system that acknowledges every student’s contribution to school life
• Opportunities for responsibility and leadership for all year groups
• A supportive environment where students are enthusiastic, ambitious and challenged by learning
As the Headteacher of this school, I am committed to providing the very best education for your child. Our unique ethos focuses on investing in all our students. On behalf of all the staff I look forward to investing in the partnership that I hope we can form with you.
