The Poppy Room
The Poppy Room caters for children aged 2 ½ years, through to 4 years 11 months.
The children are divided into teams, so each group and each child has equal use of every resource the nursery has to offer, inside and outside. We provide continuous provision that allows children to move around the room at their own pace, engaging in activities that interest them.
All children are assigned a Key Person who will work closely with the child and parents, providing each child opportunities to develop and ensure they reach the milestones of their individual ‘learning journeys’, as set out by the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Additionally, the Poppy children can join in our football sessions in the school grounds and the older children can attend ‘big school’ to experience French sessions, taught by The Henry Beaufort School’s Language teachers.
