Henry Beaufort- "Outstanding School"
Categories: School News
It is with great pleasure that I share with you the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection. As parents will read, the school has been described as ‘Outstanding’, which is the highest category that any school can be awarded. Bearing in mind recent press reports over the new Ofsted framework introduced last term, this is particularly pleasing. It has been reported that only 9% of schools nationally achieve the highest of categories so this makes our achievement even more special.
I am pleased that Ofsted recognised so many excellent areas across the school and I hope you can celebrate with us this marvellous achievement. My sincere thanks to everyone at the school, especially the staff who have worked so hard, the outstanding students and the parents who continue to support the school ethos. This was fully reflective within the report and through the parent survey. Despite this success we are not complacent and have already begun the process of ensuring HB will remain outstanding for many years to come.
Please enjoy reading this report and celebrate with us this fantastic outcome. It is the community that is HB that makes it very special. Everyone connected with the school should feel as proud we do at the school.
Jonathan de Sausmarez, Headteacher

As a parent who has made the difficult decison to send my child ,out of catchment, to Henry Beaufort this coming September, this confirms we have made the right decision to choose this wonderful school, well done!
